BIG TEX TRAILERS : When I was out in Gilmer (East Texas) for the weekend before Thanksgiving Inoticed that the dovetail on my Big Tex Trailer was severely tweaked on thepassenger side. It was about 6-8" lower than the driver side. Both fenders alsoare creased/bent, a tell-tale sign that the frame is tweaked. When you stepback from the trailer about 10 feet or so you can really see the gradual bendof the frame up to the dovetail and then the severe bend on the dovetail.This freaked me out....as I bought this trailer because of the strength, theframe is made out of square tubing - a major selling point to me over themajority of the trailers that have angle-iron frames. My last two trailers hadangle-iron frames, the most recent one would "bow up" at opposite corners whenI would strap the Jeep down.
