Hee hee DIXIE TRAILER : As some may recall, I've been at work every single day sincemid-September. Well, I somehow managed to get this weekend off! Iwas able to weasel out of this weekend for three reasons:a) I was working every day because the computers I need to work arein use basically around the clock, so the only way I was able to getextra work done was by working on the weekend. Well, this weekthere's been some stuff needed to be done that doesn't involve thecomputers, so when second shift comes in I've been able to stay a fewhours later and work on this other stuff.b) My part of the project was done on time - right now I'm justhelping out the slackers that are holding us up.c) My Mom's birthday is this weekend, and my Grandmother is flyingdown here (Florida) all the way from Canada. Missing this is simplynot an option. DIXIE TRAILER : So, Friday will mark the end of 57 straight days at work. First, if youwake up at 6:30 am every single day for two months, it is physicallyimpossible to sleep in even one minute on your first day off. Second,weekends are very important in keeping track of time. I never knewwhat day it was because every day blended into each other.Yeah, I'm really not doing so bad either, on account of the fact thatI've also got enough vacation time saved up to take off an entiremonth. But I have to be at work by 6:30am most days, so I getup around 5:15.Then the damn homegamers come over to my house on weekends, tie meto the couch and force me to watch bad movies until the wee hoursof the morning. And yet my brain still wants to wake me up goodand early. I often come out of a weekend more tired than I wentinto it.
