MOVIE TRAILER MUSIC : Two films: The Joy Luck Club and My Family used the same terrific musicfrom another soundtrack, and I'm looking for anyone who might have a clueas to the title, and from what soundtrack. It's driving me nuts.I know at least one trailer for "Joy Luck Club" contained JN Howard'smusic form "Alive."Also, I would like to add, that I am dying to knowwhat music was used in the original (long trailer) of Dolores Claiborne? But, I apologize. I am in a tight bind looking for a paticular song,and cannot seem to find it anywhere. Ive even sang (hummed) it to mylocal classical music radio station.During movie trailers, the trailer plays normally, but then if it cutsto a huge war or fighting sequence, this music starts playing. And itsounds like a lot of yelling of voices. Very loud piece of music, andquite intense, actually very intense. The editors at one of the trailer houses simply took the ROMEO + JULIET CD, and mixed it to the trailer. If you want, you can recreate it yourself with a sound card.It's available on the ROMEO + JULIET soundtrack CDs. You just needto mix it yourself!there is no need to mix the 2 tracks. the track they used has both chorus andthe upbeat feel. it is on the Volume 2 soundtrack to romeo and juliet. it istrack 21 Escape from Mantua. they used the beginning and the end of the track.just cut out the middle. Mark Snow WAS involved with the 1st trailer for theX-files. he composed the trailer music for that trailer. it is a fact. sorrybut it is not available. These can be done as far away from release as a whole year.They're usually not very long (1 min to 90 seconds)
