POTTER TRAILER : Ok, so I'm weird and went with Jeremy to see Scooby Doo yesterday. The real overriding reason was, of course, to see the new Harry Potter Trailer! The theater scared us... we saw all the reviews, all the commercials, all the ads to clean up after yourself, and THEN the Harry Potter trailer. What fun!I'm actually going to be in Atlanta for a large weekend concert when it opens. I'm thinking I'm going to organize a large group to see a matinee on opening day of the show! (hey, Jocelyn... ;)The film's not to be released in the UK until 15th November 2002!!I've tried the trailer 2 times, and each time it seems like it hangswhen the car is on the tracks...or is that all of the trailer? I findthat hard to believe. I'm going to keep trying, but I thought I'd ask.Yep, that seems to be where it stops. Bear in mind that that is only meant to be a "teaser trailer", i.e. a trailer for the trailer, so... POTTER TRAILER : Oh, but hopefully you'll have more meetings in California, and you'll beable to see it in the US first ;-)My DH went to see Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring for theseventh or eighth time, just to see the trailer for the next movie. (Hedidn't mind seeing the FOTR again, though). He's become a bit of a LOTRgeek...and can't wait for next December when The Towers will be out. Healso really really wants to save our pennies to go to New Zealand forthe premier of either The Towers or the third movie. (Given our cashflowat the moment and my work schedule, I'd say that the third movie will beour only hope!)Ah, nice thought, but it's released in the US on the same date! I think (being based on a British book) that this is one of the films that we are lucky enough to get at the same time as "over the pond". I liked the way they showed Dobby, helooked pretty much like I expected him too, but the scene with the carannoyed me. that wasn't in the book. they never came down that lowonto the tracks..grrrr... they leave so much out (which I canunderstand) but why add in additional stuff? the book is perfect as itis.. POTTER TRAILER : Not really. He's never the lead but he always outshines the rest of the cast.
