SCOOBY DOO TRAILER : I only watched about the first 10 seconds of this trailer. I amAFRAID to go to theaters in the next several months because I might besubjected to the rest. All I can say is "damn." Damn. Did SarahMichelle Gellar kill someone and the only person that knows is bribingher to make this crap? And Freddie Prinze Jr.....this is low even forHIM. Jesus, this is the worst idea for a movie ever. All thosecheap-as-hell Hanna-Barbara suckfests are an insult to animation, andScooby Doo is no different. The least they could have done was makeit a fully CGI film, like Toy Story or Ice Age. Anyone who tries toconvert a cartoon to a live-motion movie so literally doesn't knowshit about cinematography, filmmaking, or entertainment in general.I guess they figure it's clever marketing, aiming a 30-40 somethingRETARDS who used to watch that crap and should now introducetheir kids to it? The narrator's ominous voice setsup a persuasive speech about the need for a hero. The camera bringsus to a large house, going up staircases, going through secretpassageways. At first, I thought this was another haunted house/ghostmovie in the ilk of "13 Ghosts" and "The Haunting".Then the camera rests on a dark shadow. We see the CGI Scooby. Hesays something like, "Who me?" with his usual Scooby voice.Audience laughs. Then we saw the trailer for Majestic. ZZZZzzzz......Oh, whew!....Just a teaser--So THAT'S why they'd thought it was so hilarious.(Now, if they'd *shown* any scenes from the actual mess, and theaudience still laughed, THEN you should start to worry...)
