I question the motives of anyone who profits fromtragedy. The recent auctioning of pieces of the plane that Patsy Cline diedin for example - that was plenty wrong.The attitude I read from that Spiderman trailer post was "Ooh, cool, this isnow a collectible" - classic fanboy mentality. Rare, limited, one only,special edition, etc. Bah. Given the circumstances, I found it kindasickening. Sorry. Just do. Can't stop me. So there.I'm also an ex-Minotaur employee (over ten years ago), so my opinions do notnecessarily reflect the current staff or management, yada yada yada. But ifyou'd watched folks paw through a stack of 250 copies of Iron Man #231trying to find the one with perfect staples, you'd probably get a bittwisted too. SPIDERMAN MOVIE TRAILER : I thought that was clear in my post. Perhaps not. People who see the movieor the trailer might be interested in reading about the character. Theymight simply have been kids when they read the original series and expect tosee the character of the Hulk in a book titled after that character. Thereare readers outside of the die hards. For example, if I were to go to themovies and see Spiderman, that might be a major motivating factor in megoing to 7-11 and picking up his latest comic. When I picked up the comic,I'd probably expect to read about Spidey. I might be very disapointed tolearn he did not appear in the comic, but it was only about Peter Parker.Wait a sec, I just described the first six issues of Ultimate Spider Man(and thats a hit too.) Anyway, outside of the title stating "The IncredibleHulk" I really don't know why a reader would pick up the book expecting tosee the title character. I certainly can't explain why I pick up somebooks. Sometimes, it is word of mouth, sometimes I like the cover,sometimes I'm feeling nastolgic, sometimes I'm bored with my currentreading...who knows? I can honestly say though, that if I were a kid, I'dbe disapointed in the current version of the Hulk. That doesn't mean it isnot a good book.
