The standard reason for not crossposting too widely is that many people read more than one newsgroup; and many Trek-related newsgroups have a narrow focus (just Klingons, Vulcans, Q, whatever) and don't care for messages outside of that area. I don't even think Steven Seagal movies ought to be .... well, I might want to think about that one...You're missing the point -- they were booing because the they thought themovie had already started (after a 3 hour wait) and then it turned out ithadn't. They've have booed anything -- even Forest Gump or the ID4trailer itself.It's for the "Special Edition" rerelease of "A New Hope". The trailer was like on 20 prints of ID4. I haven't seen the trailer, but I *have* seen some of the footage, and with the exception of the pathetically phony-looking Stormtrooper on the Dewback's back, the computer meddling with the original was quite well done. I just went to see Escape from LA the other day (stopsnickering please) and the First Contact preview was shown. I believethis is the one that many people have already seen (with the Intrepidclass ship that set off many threads on whether the vessel was Voyager ornot). No one booed the movie preview. Rather, some people seemed wowedwhile there was cheering from the back (I was in the 'that was cool'section). :) Some people may be hesitant about First Contact. It is really thefirst Star Trek TNG outing without any 'classic character' backup and thestoryline has potential to screw up a LOT of continuity issues (which alot of fans care about) so if some people booed, I'm not surprised. TREK TRAILER : ich hab mir mittlerweile ein neus Hobby angeeignet und sammle diese meist 2MB großen Trailer zu den Star Trek Folgen.Ich hab schon alle zu DS9 und TNG auf der Paramount Site (Star TrekContinuum) gefunden aber leider war nur ein Trailer zu Voyager da.Ich würde gerne mal die Trailer von Scorpion I & II sehen.Oder kennt gar einer eine Site, wo es ALLE Voy-Trailer gibt ?Wäre interessant.Ja, unter scheinen alle da zusein.
